where do i even start?!

Believe it or not I didn’t ask Chatgpt for help with this quote.
— me, duh.

okay so here go an example of when I do videography

and here go my top 3 favorite beats I've made.

I also been doing writing camps for a few years now and here’s some different footage from that too.

how it all started

  • When I first started making my beats I was so happy that I could finally do it I didn’t mind at all putting myself out there. I had just graduated and was still riding that wave. Little did I know that doing the beat battles would be one of the ways I got my name out in the city the most. It took me a few tries but I finally won in October 2021 and I also did my first podcast appearance with them too. This is when it started to take off. • When I was in college I had the pleasure of being taught by WavyWayne in my mixing class and just by being around I ended up being the videographer for Lydia Caesar and did a lot of the media when they were launching. Again these were my earlier days but being a media source for them opened even more doors for me. Their websites are here and here

  • Funny story… I was already going to A3C with Sauce Records but later got invited on my own for a beat battle and this is where everything happened that got me to the next steps of my career. Creative Space FKA Collab Lab was the first time I did a beat battle out of state and that was a hugeeeeeeee deal to me as it is!!! I didn’t win that time but I was invited back to help make hooks that would get shopped to labels in hopes of getting a placement. Though I haven’t landed one yet I was embraced by this amazing group of people and it catapulted me in the direction of where I am now.

  • So me and my friends made an album riiiiiiight before the pandemic happened. If i’m not mistaken this was the first album to be made by entirely women that came out the city. Leethal did the poetry, volume speaks did the beats and I engineered. This was about embracing our place in the industry and showing that we can do it on our own. I’m hella proud of that and it was definitely a highlight of my career.

Wanna listen? You got lucky cus here it is for Apple & Spotify :)

  • Now like I said back then it was called Collab Lab but now it’s Creative Space and you can check out their website here. I appreciate events like these because it shows you how to work with different people and different energies but still getting the objective done at the end of the day. While here I made hooks with people on my beats and I also did hooks on other people’s beats. I started rapping here too, I got put on the spot one time and never looked back; now I got something else to mark off my checklist.

  • I met Frutti while I was going to EI by Nelly and we worked at sauce together. I was the videographer and she was the creative director. We both worked out a$$e$ over the years and want to make our own business doing it for ourselves. We threw our first official event back in June and it was a major success so now, that’s what we on lol
